What it actually looks like

Our note
There is no price anywhere on the site for a group, so cost is the first thing to settle on the phone. Most of the visit is outside on packed earth or gravel, and there is no meal to buy on site, so send lunches and dress the children for the weather.

What the children do

A visit to the centre for a class or group. It includes a 20 to 30 minute guided tour of the facility and a flying demonstration. No price is published for groups; the page says to contact them for pricing and to book.

Walk the paths with a guide past the aviaries to look at the many bird species kept there, then watch a flying demonstration where eagles, hawks, owls and vultures fly overhead.

Good to know

There are picnic benches for a packed lunch and parking is free. Washrooms, shelter if it rains and room for a bus are not mentioned anywhere on the site, so ask when you call.

Strollers
All common personal belongings are permitted, including coolers, backpacks, strollers, wagons, outside food and drink (with the exception of alcohol) and cameras.
Wheelchair access
Our facility is wheelchair accessible, as long as your personal mobility aids are equipped to deal with outdoor surfaces. While some of our paths are paved, the majority are hard-packed earth or packed gravel.
Bus parking
Parking is free of charge. During the summer months, the parking lot can get busy so we strongly recommend carpooling whenever possible.
