Our note
The birds stay on the glove unless flying has been arranged in advance, so say up front if you want the children to see one fly. Nothing is published about how far they travel or what it costs, so ask about both.
What the children do
Staff bring birds to a school, community group or event. Each presentation is a 30 minute talk with three different birds, with extra time for questions and discussion. Birds will not be flying at away locations without prior planning. No price is published; the page says to contact them for pricing and to book.

Good to know
They come to you, so the washrooms, lunch space and indoor room are your own. Price, group size and how much notice they need are not published, so ask when you call.

We do offer some light snacks in our gift shop, but the centre does not have any meal options. You are more than welcome to bring your own food to the centre and enjoy it at one of our picnic benches.

Strollers
All common personal belongings are permitted, including coolers, backpacks, strollers, wagons, outside food and drink (with the exception of alcohol) and cameras.
Wheelchair access
Our facility is wheelchair accessible, as long as your personal mobility aids are equipped to deal with outdoor surfaces. While some of our paths are paved, the majority are hard-packed earth or packed gravel.
Bus parking
Parking is free of charge. During the summer months, the parking lot can get busy so we strongly recommend carpooling whenever possible.

For the comfort and safety of our birds dogs are not permitted in the facility. Guests with service animals, please contact us to arrange accomodations.. Please refrain from flash photography.. All guests must wear a shirt and shoes at all time.. You must be eight years or older to participate in our CLOSER or CLOSEST admission packages, or any other hands-on experience.. Outside food and drink are permitted with the exception of alcohol.
