Our note
This is the door for a group that is not a school, and it is the only place on the site that says a single day is possible. It is also the only place that asks for your ages, so put them in the first email and you will find out quickly whether your children are old enough.

What the children do

Programs built with groups that are not schools. They name community groups, First Nations youth, Scouts and Guides, international groups, sports teams and arts organisations, and say these run from a one day activity up to a three week camp, covering camps, retreats, team building and expeditions. Enquiries go to the general office address with the group's size and ages, preferred dates and goals.

It depends what is agreed. They describe camps, retreats, team building and outdoor expeditions, drawn from the same activity list as the school programs.

Good to know

Same site as the school programs, with meals, beds and washrooms on the property. Price, youngest age and group size are all unpublished, so the quote is where they get settled.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different addresses for the person who books school programs. If one bounces, try the other, or ring the lodge. We use the one from their school programs page.

Our Lodge is located 5 km before the Buttle Lake entrance to Strathcona Provincial Park.
Restrictions
All participants must sign a waiver and release agreement prior to taking part in an SPL experience or activity.. Minor participants (children 18 and under) must have an Acknowledgment of Risks and Consent Form completed and signed by a parent or guardian.. There is no cellphone reception on property and we do not have internet access for youth while they are here.. Your arrival time should be between 1:00pm - 2:30pm. Please do not arrive early.. Medical forms, youth consent forms, rooming list and group list are required back two weeks before the program start date.
