Our note
The banner says trips start at $20 a child but the list underneath prices an hour of bowling at $7.99, so ask for a written quote showing what is in it. School pricing only runs on weekdays between 9am and 3pm, and food and arcade cards are charged on top of the bowling.

What the children do

The chain publishes school trip prices per person: 60 minutes of bowling $7.99, 90 minutes $10.99 and 120 minutes $13.99. Two pizza slices with a pop is $5.99 per person and arcade play cards start at $5 per person. Mini golf at $5 per person is only at some centres, and the ones named are Richmond Hill and Calgary Highfield. School pricing runs Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm. The chain recommends contacting the events team six to eight weeks ahead for a group event, though no minimum notice is published for school trips.

Bowl on a lane with bumpers, ball ramps and lightweight balls available so every child can knock pins down. Groups can add arcade play cards, and pizza and pop between games.

Good to know

Everything is indoors, parking is free on site and the lanes are wheelchair accessible. Washrooms, somewhere to eat packed lunches and bus parking are not mentioned, and outside food is not allowed, so ask about lunch when you book.

Sources disagree. Their school trips page says trips start at $20 a child at the top of the page, then lists an hour of bowling at $7.99 a head further down. The cheaper figure is bowling on its own. Ask for a written quote so you can see what the $20 is meant to cover.
Sources disagree. Their Nanaimo page lists full opening hours in the questions further down, and higher up on the same page says the hours are being updated and to call. Worth a quick call to confirm the day you want.
Sources disagree. Two hidden map points on their Nanaimo page sit about three kilometres apart. The street address is the thing to trust, 171 Calder Road off the Nanaimo Parkway at Exit 18. We use the point that matches that address.
