The $325 is the site rental for one to four hours for a party of up to 50 people, not a per person charge. Each extra two hours is $50. A party of 51 to 100 pays $400 for the first four hours and $65 for each extra two hours, and has to arrange and pay for at least one additional portable toilet.

Our note
This is a picnic field for hire rather than a farm visit. Nothing on their site says a group gets anywhere near the animals, which is probably the reason you were looking here, so ask about that before anything else. The fee is for the whole site, not per child, so it only works out if you fill it or share it with another room.

What the children do

The farm rents out a picnic site for get togethers, which it advertises for family reunions, company BBQs and similar. The site has picnic tables, a shelter, a BBQ, a fire pit, beach access, parking and access to the washrooms. For up to 50 guests it is $325 for one to four hours, with $50 for each extra two hours. For 51 to 100 guests it is $400 for one to four hours, with $65 for each extra two hours. The maximum is 100 people, and a party over 50 has to arrange and pay for at least one extra portable toilet because of the septic and water limits. Bookings go through the farm by phone or email. The farm publishes no tour, no animal feeding and nothing about whether visitors can see the deer, cattle, goats or emu.

Eat at the picnic tables under the shelter, and go down to the farm's own stretch of waterfront.

Good to know

Picnic tables, a shelter, a BBQ, a fire pit, beach access, parking and washrooms come with the site. A party over 50 has to bring in an extra portable toilet at its own cost. Nothing is published about step free access, where a bus would park or what happens in the rain.
