What it actually looks like

Photos from Sea Wolf Adventures's website
Our note
This is the only thing on the site that sounds like it could be shaped into a short trip for a younger group, but nothing about it is priced or timed on the page. Treat it as a conversation starter and ask what a half day with children would actually look like.

What the children do

A page on the site offers custom and private tours built around a group's interests and the time it has. Listed possibilities are looking at signs of the human past such as pictographs, shell middens, clam gardens and culturally modified trees, hearing language, traditional place names, songs, dances, art and stories, visiting remote Kwakwaka'wakw villages, and combining cultural content with wildlife viewing. The page says shorter guided cultural tours can be provided as well as multi-day experiences, and asks people to contact the company for options. No price, length, age limit or group size is published for these, and the page is not linked from the main menu.

Good to know

Nothing practical is published for this one. Length, price, group size, youngest age and how far ahead to ask are all things you would have to settle by email or phone.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different prices for children aged 10 to 16 on the lodge package. One says 60 percent of the adult price, the other says 40 percent. Get the number confirmed in writing before you pay a deposit.
