Our note
There is no set visit here to book. The page simply invites you to write and ask, so treat it as a conversation rather than a booking, and say up front how old your group is. The workshop and event dates live on the Farm's own separate website rather than the university one.
What the children do
The Farm at RRU is a 5.26 acre former walled Edwardian kitchen garden being rebuilt as a Giving Garden, Market Garden, Indigenous Medicine Garden and polyculture orchard. The university describes it as a gathering place for the community with free workshops and volunteer opportunities, a living lab for student courses and research, and a food production centre supplying fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs to community partners and students. The campus page invites people to get in touch to volunteer, take a tour or otherwise get involved, through a contact form. No age range, price, length, group size or schedule for a visit is published on the university's own pages. The Farm keeps a separate website of its own with an events list, which was not read for this record.
