Our note
This is the form to use if you are a daycare rather than a school. Fifteen is the smallest group they will take, so a small room may need to join up with another. One adult per five children under 13 is the rule, and the adults are charged admission as well.

What the children do

Groups that are not schools, including daycares, organisations and teams, use a separate group visit form. It asks for the ages of the visiting children and offers the same choice of a volunteer guided tour of about 60 to 75 minutes or a self guided visit at your own pace. Groups are 15 to 45 people, one adult is needed for every 5 children aged 12 and under, and requests are processed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The centre asks that a large group does not go into the gift shop all at once because the space is limited. What a group pays is not published: the group tour coordinator sends a payment schedule after the request goes in, and payment is taken on arrival.

Walk the gravelled paths between the enclosures to look at eagles, owls, bears and turtles, either behind a volunteer guide or on their own with the map, then eat at the picnic tables afterwards.

Good to know

Gravelled paths that take a wheelchair, washrooms with a change table in the Eagle Flight Enclosure building, picnic tables for lunch and free parking with room for a bus. Rain cover and how long a self guided visit takes are not stated.

Sources disagree. Their own two pages print admission slightly differently. The home page says $15 for an adult and $6 for a child aged 4 to 16 with tax on top, and the visit page shows the same figures with nothing said about tax. The numbers agree, so budget for tax being added and check the total when you pay.
Washrooms
Washrooms are wheelchair accessible and have one baby changing station. They are located in the Eagle Flight Enclosure building.
Lunch space
Picnic areas with tables and benches are scattered around the grounds. Picnic tables are available for use after your tour for snack and/or lunch time.
