What it actually looks like

Our note
It is 45 minutes of standing and looking, so it works best with a group already comfortable being indoors and reasonably quiet. Folding stools are kept at the desk for anyone who needs to sit, so ask at the front when you arrive rather than partway through.
What the children do
A 45 minute guided tour of the gallery's current exhibition led by a gallery facilitator. The $75 covers the first 15 people and every person after that is $5. Four exhibitions run each year, so the tour changes with what is on the walls. French tours are available on request, depending on staff being available. The tours page does not give an age range for this one.
Walk through the gallery with a facilitator, stop in front of the works in the current exhibition, and talk about what they are looking at.
Good to know
Washrooms with change tables are inside both the gallery and Art Lab, and the route in is step free with automated doors. There is no lunch space mentioned and no parking lot of their own, so plan for street parking or the parkade and eat elsewhere.
Washrooms
A single room, gender neutral washroom is available both inside the Gallery and inside Art Lab. The counter tops in each washroom are 32" high. Change tables are available in both washrooms.
