Our note
The rule that stops most school groups is that every rider aged 10 to 15 needs a parent or guardian aged 19 or older with them on the tour, not just a teacher waiting at the bottom. Sort that out before you book anything else. It is also three hours of stairs and pack carrying, so it is not a gentle outing.

What the children do

A guided zipline tour over four spans totalling 2.3 km, with a shorter Hawk Flight half tour starting from the third line. Riders must weigh between 50 and 260 lbs and be between 4 feet and 6 feet 8 inches tall, and heights and weights are measured at check in. Riders must be 10 or older, and anyone aged 10 to 15 must be accompanied on the tour by a parent or guardian aged 19 or older. Each tour needs at least 4 people. Allow up to 3 hours and arrive 30 minutes early. The half tour is $44 for ages 16 and under and $59 for 16 and over.

Carry an 18 lb trolley in a backpack up several flights of stairs and along some hiking, then ride four ziplines controlling their own speed.

Good to know

There are washrooms in the ZipTour Centre and some first come lockers on the Marmots floor. It runs outdoors and is cancelled in lightning, high wind, low visibility or heavy rain, so build in a fallback.

Sources disagree. Their contact page gives two different notice periods for booking a lesson. One line says 48 hours ahead, another says 24 hours through the call centre with a cut off at noon the day before. Book as early as you can and get the date confirmed.
