What it actually looks like

Our note
Four is the youngest they take in a group lesson, which is the real floor for a preschool group on the snow. Nothing was priced for the coming winter when we looked, so you will have to ask.

What the children do

Group lessons at the Snow School, kept small and sorted by ability. They run 2.5 hours for Tot and Child aged 4 to 7 and 2 hours for Youth aged 13 to 18 and Adult 19 and over. Prices and dates for the 26/27 winter had not been published when this was checked.

Learn to ski or snowboard in a small class with an instructor, on beginner terrain.

Good to know

Washrooms are on site and there are cafes and a cafeteria, but nothing is published about a room a class can eat a packed lunch in, or about where a bus parks. Ask about both, and note that vehicles need good winter tires and chains on the parkway.

Sources disagree. Their contact page gives two different notice periods for booking a lesson. One line says 48 hours ahead, another says 24 hours through the call centre with a cut off at noon the day before. Book as early as you can and get the date confirmed.
