Our note
The audio and the printable guide both sit behind a log in on their site, so set that up at the office rather than in the car park. Download it before you leave town too, because the signal in the park is patchy. At 0.64 km the loop is short enough for small legs.

What the children do

A free self guided walk around the Nature House Interpretive Loop with recorded commentary, narrated by Emma, a long time member of the Miracle Beach Nature House staff. The loop is 0.64 km with 14 m of elevation gain, rated easy, and goes through the forest with stops about plants and the history of the park. A PDF guide with extra visuals goes with the audio. The walk starts to the left of the Nature House, past the large carved sculpture, where a poster on the wall carries a QR code. The commentary is in English. You have to log in to Discover Parks to play the full track or open the guide, and cell reception in the park can be poor for some providers, so download it before you arrive. Discover Parks lists it year round, but says availability follows the park's seasonal operation and the weather.

Walk a short forest loop, stopping where the recording tells them to, looking at the trees and plants it names along the way.

Good to know

The walk starts beside the Nature House, which is reached from the day-use car park where there is parking and there are washrooms. It is outdoors the whole way on a forest trail, and no cover is mentioned if it rains.

Washrooms
The Miracle Beach Nature House can be reached from the day-use area parking lot. There is parking and washrooms available.
Lunch space
The park's own facility list includes picnic areas and picnic shelters, and there is a large picnic area overlooking the water. Nothing says whether a group may eat inside the Nature House.
