Self guided gallery visit
What it actually looks like
What the children do
The gallery is open to the public seven days a week from 10 am to 4 pm, with a new exhibition every month. The September 2026 show is a member show called We Are All Connected, holding painting, photography, fibre art, linocut, stained glass, weaving and ceramics. Every piece is priced and for sale, and a boutique carries smaller local works. The site does not describe a group booking, a group rate, a guided tour or anything laid on for children, so a visit is simply walking in during opening hours.
Walk into one long room off the main street and look at the month's show, which is paintings and photographs hung along the walls and small sculptures set on plinths. There is nothing to handle and nothing to make. Everything is priced and for sale.
Good to know
Nothing at all is published about washrooms, somewhere to eat, parking or step free access, and no admission price is given either. All of that has to be settled on the phone.
