Our note
Nothing at this theatre is written for schools. The $24 group price sits just under the $28 adult one, so it is the adult discount, while students with identification pay $17. Ask which of the two a class of children gets before you set your budget.

What the children do

A public performance of one of the four mainstage shows, with a published rate for groups of ten or more of $24 per person. Single tickets are $28 for adults, $25 for seniors 65 and over and $17 for students with valid identification. The site does not say which of those rates a school or daycare group is charged, and it does not say how a group claims the group rate. Evening performances start at 7:30 pm and closing Sunday performances are matinees at 2 pm.

Sit in the seats of a 1949 movie house that the company converted into a theatre, and watch local actors perform a play or a musical.

Good to know

Indoors with washrooms on site, though the washrooms are not step free and the theatre can take only one wheelchair per performance. Somewhere to eat, where a bus parks and how a group actually books are all unstated, so phone the box office.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give different box office days in the fortnight before a show. One says Tuesday to Friday, the other says Tuesday to Saturday. Both give 11 am to 2 pm. If you were counting on a Saturday, phone first.
