This only works if the class has read the book - it is built on the novel rather than on Chinatown generally. It is $10 more than the standard Chinatown tour because of the author agreement.

What the children do

A Chinatown tour for Grade 5 and Grade 6 built around the characters, places and themes of Julie Lawson's novel White Jade Tiger, offered under agreement with the author. Cost $160 for the group.

Visit the "Never Ending Store", play fan tan in Fan Tan Alley, find an 1881 quarter in a lai see envelope, see where Dragon Maker may have lived, and try on the clothing Jasmine wore when she was transported back in time.
