Our note
This is the general-public guided option rather than a school program, and it costs admission plus a flat $50 guide fee - for a class the education programs are usually cheaper. No age range is published for it.
What the children do
A guide leads the group through the Castle on a personal tour that can be adapted to the group's interests, covering the rooms, woodwork, stained glass and period furnishings and the story of the Dunsmuir family. Booked through the Visitor Experience Coordinator. The cost is applicable admission rates plus $50 for the guide, so the $50 is a group fee on top of per-person admission.
Follow a guide from room to room through the Castle, stopping to look at woodwork, stained glass and furnishings while the guide answers the group's own questions.
