What it actually looks like

Our note
Grade 5-8 straddles the Castle's two price bands, so a class can be billed partly at the child rate and partly at the youth rate; get the total quoted when you book.

What the children do

In-person program for Grade 5-8 students exploring the Castle's connections to coal mining and railway development in British Columbia, including a photo analysis activity. In-person programming is priced by age band: Children (4-11) $8.00, Youth (12-17) $12.00.

Move through the Castle with a guide hearing how the Dunsmuir coal and railway money built it, then work through a set of historical photographs, looking for detail and evidence.
