What it actually looks like
Our note
This is the classroom style half, done at the museum. If you want the children outside handling rocks in the field, you need Geology B too, and the museum prices the pair together.
What the children do
A geology program for classes held at the museum. Through a presentation, hands-on activities and interactive discussion the children compare geological features and look at the cause and effect of natural formations. The museum recommends combining it with Geology B, the field trip to Comox Lake, at a combined price. The price is published against a maximum of 30 people.
Sit for a presentation about the changing surface of the earth, then take part in hands-on activities and discussion comparing rocks and landforms.
