Our note
Ring ahead rather than dropping in. The exhibition rooms close between shows, so the date matters more here than at most galleries. Nothing on their site says how long a tour takes or how many children they will take at once, so ask both.

What the children do

The gallery invites small groups and classes to contact it to book a private or guided tour of the exhibitions. Nothing is published about how long a tour runs, what ages it suits, how many children it takes, or how far ahead to ask, so all of that has to be settled by phone or email. Admission and programming at the gallery are free and donations are appreciated.

Walk through the gallery spaces with a guide and look at the contemporary art in the current exhibition.

Good to know

Toilets are on site and the building is step free, with a ramp up from the plaza and automatic door buttons. Somewhere to eat lunch and parking for a bus are not mentioned, so ask when you call.
