Our note
You set the price yourself when you phone, which makes this the cheapest way in for a group on a tight budget. Only the October and November dates are still ahead this season, and both are Thursday afternoons.

What the children do

A performance run in a deliberately casual way. House lights stay partly on, sudden sounds and effects are reduced, and the audience may move about, make noise and leave and come back. The theatre says these are a good option for anyone with small children and for people with Tourette, Parkinson's and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The usual minimum age of 4 does not apply. All Relaxed Performances are Pay What You Can and are only bookable by phoning the Box Office. The 2026 dates are 26 February, 23 April, 18 June, 1 October and 19 November, all Thursdays at 2:00 PM.

Watch a professional play in a room where the lights stay partly on, and where they are allowed to move, make noise, and go out and come back in.

Good to know

Indoors, with a lift and reserved accessible seating, and the theatre says movement and noise are fine at these shows. Toilets and anywhere to eat a packed lunch are not mentioned on the site.

Sources disagree. Two of their pages give a different booking fee on each ticket. One says $3.00 and the other says $3.15. It is small money, but multiply it by a class and ask the box office which figure they are charging.
