Our note
This is the version to pick if you are unsure how long the children will last on the water. Bring food, because lunch is only mentioned on the longer tour. Metal water bottles, large backpacks and tripods are not allowed on board.
What the children do
The shorter scheduled trip, on the same covered boat and looking for the same animals as the longer tour. Lunch is not mentioned for this one. Departure is normally 11 am, a 10 percent fuel surcharge is added, and prices are quoted before tax.
Spend about three and a half hours on a small covered boat, sitting inside the heated cabin or standing on the open deck at the back, watching for whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions and eagles.
Good to know
A washroom and a heater on board and a covered cabin, so weather is not usually a reason to cancel. No word on lunch space, wheelchair access or coach parking, and the whole boat only holds eight guests.
